Spring Season 2009 - Small Group Leader Guidelines

Here are 12 simple guidelines that will help you succeed in this spring season 2009
1. Make Calendar with dates, times & locations
2. Use the attendance sheet provided.
3. Draw people to you. Invite the people you meet, at church, at work… wherever you have opportunity.
4. Manage your groups. Check on the people who are absent. Keep track of the people who join you.
5. Stick to your promotion.
6. Don’t be afraid of food. If you can, have a hospitality committee in your group.
7. Be sensitive to time. We suggest an official ending time for your meeting where people can feel at liberty to leave. We also suggest having a final time thirty minutes after that.
8. Be vigilant to manage your group in discussions so that everyone has an equal opportunity to participate.
9. Numbers are not important! It is only important that people connect.
10. Groups should end the week of May 17-23, 2009.
11. Please plan to attend our Spring 2009 Thank You Debrief Celebration -Sunday at 6:00 pm –May 24th.
