Hello LIFE Leaders Fall 2009!!!

Greetings from Connection Central and the Pastoral Care team here at WAIO.

I just want to personally thank you for serving this season as a LIFE Group Leader. I am convinced that an anointing and empowering of the Holy Spirit is yours to accomplish the task. We will see people connect with God, people, and purpose during this fall season.

In addition to thanking you, I want to invite you to a LIFE LEADER LAUNCH LUNCHEON following our third service (around 1:15) in TAMA Hall on Sunday, September 20th.

We will have a chance to share a little, equip a little, eat a little (or a lot), and encourage a little, and inform a little as we start this great Fall Season of LIFE Groups.

God bless you again and I really hope to see you there.

Folks are contacting us through the web with requests for Group Involvement. They are finding you listed in available life groups for the fall season. Cool, huh?

A fifth Sunday means one thing at Word Alive: Anointing Service!
Our Anointing Services are incredible encounters with God. We join together as a body to worship and pray, expecting God to show up and do great things. We always see people healed, delivered, and filled fresh with the Holy Spirit. This will be our first Anointing Service in Our Connection and we are excited! The service starts at 6:00 pm in the main sanctuary at the Coldwater Campus.

Parents, please note that childcare is only provided for children up to five years old for this service.

If you are unable to make the Anointing Service in person, the service will be available online though our live streaming. Go to www.WordAlive.org and click on Watch Services to access the live stream.

God Helps Our Weaknesses!

What a great day we all enjoyed this past Sunday! Pastor Kent shared a message that has the power to revolutionize your life. God does not hate our weaknesses. He helps our weaknesses. Humility is the key to living in the grace of God.

Wednesday we will continue our corporate study of the Seven Faces of God’s Good Intention for You! Last week we discussed creativity and there were a great many responses during the week. God has created us with His creativity woven into our very being. This week we will look at the faces of kindness and love. I am finding that Kindness is very closely linked to idea of weakness as Kent shared this week.

Wednesday corporate prayer also resumed this week. Thank you to the 200 folks who came out at 6:00 pm to join in concentrated prayer. We prayed for our school systems, both public and private and called on the gifts of the teacher to shine this year.
